The Tesla Powerwall 3 has recently replaced the Tesla Powerwall 2 as Tesla's newest home energy storage solution.
If you already have a Powerwall 2 installed, you cannot add a Powerwall 3 to expand your system as the the Powerwall 3 is not compatible with existing Powerwall 2 systems.

Increased Energy Capacity
More Powerwall 2 units allow for greater energy storage, 13.5 kWh per unit, which is particularly useful during grid outages or periods of high energy consumption.
Increased energy output
A single Powerwall 2 will output up to 5kW, but this increases by 5kW for each Powerwall 2 added to the system, two Powerwall 2’s will output 10 kW, and three Powerwall 2’s 15 kW, and so on up to a maximum of 10 Powerwall 2 units.
